Good video. Still valid in 2024. I only buy vintage Hamilton watches in solid gold cases. A few pocket watches in other brands, but mostly Hamilton wristwatches. I also look for solid gold buckles to go along with them if they were originally issued with a gold buckle. I also have a beautiful 18k Omega from the 50’s. Love them all.

Have an Omega Seamaster 120 bought new in 1970 and wore it a lot over the years. I refinished the case and crystal myself after not using it for several years...case and crystal are now perfect....and finding the watch not working with a mainspring issue....I had a major service done by a reputable watchmaker 3-4 years ago. Now..... , it is acting up, maybe (again) with a mainspring issue. Anybody here have a good recommendation for Omega service that does good work but does not cost an arm-and-a-leg?...AND is mindful to not replace EVERYTHING as most "official" Omega shops try to do? Don't mind sending away for this if I have to. I am in South Carolina, USA. The guy I used before is not in business anymore.

I only use brass and bronze tweezers. Nothing else. Seem to do fine. I have a rotating base and screwdrivers that we're $60 and I dress them. I have also bought two individual Bergeon. Also the $10 demag works just fine.

I just bought the watch ill come back with the serial numbers and all but it starts with 230 or around that. Its the 611 moment in my watch.
